Cookie Policy & Consent
Last updated · May 2026
WordFlow AI uses a minimal set of cookies and similar browser storage to make the service work, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time by clearing site data.
What we use cookies for
- Keeping you signed in, a session cookie maintains your authenticated state so you don't have to log in on every page.
- Security (CSRF protection), a token cookie prevents cross-site request forgery on form and API submissions.
- Remembering preferences, your theme (light/dark), selected tone, target translation language, and cookie consent choice are stored in local storage.
- Usage limits, a small counter tracks your free-trial usage so we can fairly enforce limits before you subscribe.
- Payments, when you start checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process the transaction securely.
- Analytics (only with consent), if you accept, we record aggregated pageviews and feature usage to improve the product. No personal identifiers are sent.
Strictly necessary
Session, CSRF, and consent-storage entries cannot be disabled, without them the app cannot function or remember your choice.
Managing your choices
You can withdraw or change consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Third parties
Our payment processor (Stripe) sets cookies on its own checkout pages. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.
