Cookie Policy & Consent
Last updated · May 2026
WordFlow AI uses a minimal set of cookies and similar browser storage to make the service work, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time by clearing site data.
What we use cookies for
- Keeping you signed in — a session cookie maintains your authenticated state so you don't have to log in on every page.
- Security (CSRF protection) — a token cookie prevents cross-site request forgery on form and API submissions.
- Remembering preferences — your theme (light/dark), selected tone, target translation language, and cookie consent choice are stored in local storage.
- Usage limits — a small counter tracks your free-trial usage so we can fairly enforce limits before you subscribe.
- Payments — when you start checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process the transaction securely.
- Analytics (only with consent) — if you accept, we record aggregated pageviews and feature usage to improve the product. No personal identifiers are sent.
Strictly necessary
Session, CSRF, and consent-storage entries cannot be disabled — without them the app cannot function or remember your choice.
Managing your choices
You can withdraw or change consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings; the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Third parties
Our payment processor (Stripe) sets cookies on its own checkout pages. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.
